I know what you're thinking...
That just last week I gave myself the
They are good awards, they are wonderful awards, they are...
ok, ok...you get the idea!!
It means, people really do read my blog :)
YES!!!!
Ok, first I need to say, that awhile back I received
a couple of awards, and I feel bad, but
I didn't realize how they worked so I didn't
do my part and pass them on :(
But now as I'm learning more and more each day
about the blogging world...
I think I can handle this one ;)
(With that I want to thank all my wonderful
fellow bloggers who have answered my
questions on blogging when I've asked. Thanks!!)

So this is how this fun award works:
1. Thank and link back to the person who awarded you this award.
2. Share 7 things about yourself.
3. Award 15 recently discovered great bloggers.
4. Contact these bloggers and tell them about the award!
Ok, so first things first!!
Which wonderful bloggers
(notice the "s" ?? yes that's plural)
WOOT!!
decided I deserved this award???
(notice the "s" ?? yes that's plural)
WOOT!!
decided I deserved this award???
Ok, now seven things about me??
Let's see, I think I might go with things
that many of you
MAY NOT know about me...
that many of you
MAY NOT know about me...
1. I have been diagnosed with Lupus (SLE), Fibromyalgia, Sciatica, Spondolyloysis,Ankylosing Spondylitis,
a crushed tail-bone :(
I'm pretty sure I'm missing something, but that's
enough to give you a general idea
of the ailments I live with each and every day.
I put a link to each one, just in case
anyone wanted to learn anything
about any of them...I'm the type of person
who can never know enough!!
Knowledge is power!!
2. I have a cane that I use WHENEVER I am in the house.
As of yet, I've been too embarrassed to take it
outside. I know this is stupid and I really
need to get over it!! Because the cane helps me
TREMENDOUSLY!!! And like a friend told me,
if someone makes fun of me, I can always hit them
with it, lol. Maybe I should add that to my
list of goals for this year.
I will use my cane when I'm outside!!
3. I am pretty much a loner, by choice!!
It's not that I don't like people, I do,
I really do. I think that this is more tied into
my GAD than anything else. I get anxious
when I'm around people...unless I'm at work.
When I'm at work, I'm the biggest people person ever!
Isn't that just weird??
4. I LOVE to read anything I can get my hands on.
When I'm eating cereal, I read every word
on the cereal box....yes, even the vitamins
and percentages with regular or skim milk....
And while we're on that subject...
Who uses only 1/2 cup of milk
in their cereal??
5. I live way out in the middle of nowhere,
and I like it!!
I've lived in the big cities before...
(Boston, Grand Rapids, etc)
but when it comes right down to it,
I just prefer the country.
I think it's better for my five kids :)
6. My family and I love to do random acts of
kindness for others!!
In my opinion, it's funner when the person or
family that we helped, doesn't even know who helped
them!! Don't get me wrong, there are
plenty of times when the person know where the
help is coming from...like when we are
driving down the road and someone else is walking...
I ALWAYS stop to ask someone if they
need a ride.
(This stems from not having a car for like two years,
when I was single with three, maybe four kids
and a friend of mine with a baby
had to walk EVERYWHERE in the winter...
with our kids...I figure I've been there and it
sucked...so If I can help someone else, I WILL)
7. I've been blogging since last May or June.
I LOVE IT!!
I was rather surprised at how fast my blog
took off. I mean I don't have 1000 followers or
anything. But I love the 250+ that I do have :)
Blogging is so fun.
I love finding other blogs to follow.
I got sucked into the blogging world very quickly, lol
I am a BLOG-AHOLIC :)
Ok, and now to pass this great award on...
I certainly hope you will all take the
time to check out each and every one of these

Congratulations to you and thanks for passing the award onto me! :D And I accept it of course (I'd like to thank my husband for standing by me, my mom for giving birth to me...). I will post a blog entry about it soon and I'll link back to you!
ReplyDeleteI also wanted to say that I can empathize with a lot of what you're going through. I've had GAD since, well, forever. And this year I was injured in a car accident and one of the effects of that was sciatica. I wish you good health and more success on your blog in 2011!

Thanks again for the award. :)
Woah, Steph. This post sure helped me know you better. Let me say it- I SALUTE TO HOW BRAVE YOU ARE. With one fracture, I've felt brave, but I am sure I have no idea what it means to be going to all of those appointments and raising 5 kids and just dealing with it all so beautifully. You are wayyyy cool. THUMBS UP, girl!
